About Genderhub

Genderhub is the signpost of the Dutch-language gender network: one question, one click, the right site. Every site in the network does one thing sharply — Genderhub makes sure you land in the right place straight away.

Genderhub indexes all specialist sites of the network, per category, with description and logo. In addition, Genderhub maintains an overview of external resources beyond its own network: international evaluations, scientific networks, parent groups, detransition platforms, women's organisations and journalism.

Genderhub is published by Stichting Genderinfo i.o. The sites in the network cite their sources and have no commercial interest. The information does not replace medical or legal advice.

Why this network?

Public information about gender is often one-sided: risks go unmentioned, doubts are explained away, and criticism is dismissed as hate. This network was created out of the conviction that especially when it comes to irreversible medical decisions — often involving minors — full and honest information is indispensable.

Since 2020, countries such as the United Kingdom, Sweden and Finland have been fundamentally rethinking their gender care for young people. The Dutch debate is lagging behind. These network pages make international developments accessible — with sources provided for every claim.

How we work

All pages follow the same principles: peer-reviewed research over opinion, primary sources over reporting, and transparency about what we do not know. We link directly to studies, official documents and original interviews so you can verify everything yourself.
